September 28, 2007, Newsletter Issue #10: Used Chevy Repairs

Tip of the Week

Even the best used Chevrolet vehicle will eventually need some repairs. Here's a great tip to keep in mind when you're in need of replacing a specific Chevy part. Always look for OEM-quality or OEM-style replacement parts. OEM stands for "Original Equipment Manufacturer."

Bonus Tip: If you want to save some money, search for the part online. You can generally shop for better prices on equipment that way. Then see if your garage will install the part for you. You'll still pay for labor, but you will have gotten a better price for the part you need.
