Used Honda cars and trucks are a great choice, with reputed reliability and an excellent safety rating. But there are a lot of them to choose from, so which Honda is right for you? If you're looking for a used vehicle that can adapt to all sorts of driving conditions, Honda has come up with a vehicle that satisfies pretty much everyone's needs. The Honda CR-V is a brilliant combination of SUV and minivan, yet gives the smooth ride of a sedan. Although Honda hasn't changed the vehicle much since 1997, you have kids, the 2001 version even has added child seat tethers.
But wait, there's more! There are three available versions of the CR-V. The LX is the standard, with front- or all-wheel drive. The two more juiced-up models, the EX and SE, come with standard all-wheel drive and anti-lock breaks. If you have a lot of stuff to haul, there's plenty of room and strength; Honda says you can pack up to 1,000 pounds of gear into any CR-V model.
So, if you're on the fence about what kind of used car to buy, consider that you can take the kids to soccer practice or hit the slopes for a weekend ski trip with a used Honda CR-V.
